A stunning Elizabethan manor house, with more fireplaces and features than you'll know what to do with!
This fantastic example of a Welsh manor house sits along a hedge-lined gravel driveway, with wide vistas across the front lawn from the gate. The house itself benefits from two 'front door' and entryway options and gravel driveways front and back. Inside, there is a grand staircase with chandeliers, multiple bedrooms, a billiards room, reception rooms and two mirror-image 'Great Rooms' with unique fireplaces in all. Two kitchen's give variety of style, and both feature agas! A large sunroom is enclosed by a pretty courtyard in the rear wing, and throughout the house there is a warren of stairwells and corridors that provide both access and interest for filming.
The surrounding grounds include a vegetable garden, lawns front and back and an orchard. The neighbouring church which peeks over the garden wall is a great addition to filming in the house, and gives great texture for any exterior shots.
We love this location, and are always discovering new parts of this history - it's life began in Elizabethan times and has been added to and expanded ever since. It sits in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan, just waiting for the next production to utilise its rich history on screen.
