GS 0266
A large city centre hotel with luxe stylish finishes and an industrial twist.
With the usual array of rooms and larger suites, this hotel offers a convenient filming location with it's great public transport links and on site car park.
Starting at the top, the rooftop provides a stunning vista across the city, countryside and out to sea - you're the highest point around! There is also an on-site bar and restaurant, with a dark industrial vibe and jewel tones to finish. The adjoining roof terrace is also a great area with hints of the surrounding architecture as well as a close up view of the exterior of the tower itself.
The conference and breakout areas on street level give a great space for both filming and supporting the crew - the rooms make great lunch spaces, green rooms or for things like production meetings and read throughs. There is also a rear/underground car park entrance directly from the street, for those scenes that require a little less polish and bit more of an urban-feel.
The secret surprise to this hotel however is that there a select number of empty floors, ranging from bare concrete to half-built rooms, there is flexibility here to stage scenes in spaces that are often quite hard to scout and access. More photos to come!
Flexible and film-friendly, this hotel offers a wealth of possibilites for filming and photgraphy.
